is branch change is allowed in NIT trichy from chemical engineering to computer science

Yes it is allowed, But there are certain clause for it like you have to be in top 3-4 students in you branch which means you have to get more than 9-9.3 assuming strength should not fall below 10% after your switching. But the main factor is that you have to be in top 3.
