Hey,
Both are great career options and have good career options . If we talk about B. Sc in agriculture then Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present in front of Graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Talking about Private Sector jobs, graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc. Average starting salary is generally between 2-4.5 Lakh Rupees per year.
After pursuing a simple B. Sc physics course, students can become teachers, technical writers or research analysts. But it is advisable that they first pursue M. Sc degree and then head-out to secure a job . In order to get an edge over their competitors, candidates can opt to pursue more specialized B. Sc courses, which would make them more employable right after completing their B. Sc degree.
Job Profiles for both are:
Employment Areas for B. Sc graduates
Institutions that offer these courses are:-
Loyola College - Chennai
Department of Science (Christ University) - Bangalore
Miranda House – Delhi
Lovely Professional University, Punjab
Madras Christian College(MCC) - Chennai
Hindu College - Delhi
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
