Hello,
No course or stream is tough if you are interested in that particular stream. Tough or easy is totally based on our assumptions. For example : If there is a task in which you are not interested you will definitely find it difficult to do that task because you may face some hurdles too but on the other side if a task is provided to you in which you are having high interest you can do that task successfully and easily even if you will find some obstacles in doing that you can easily overcome from those.
So, i must say if you are interested in doing bsc hons ( chemistry) and are willing to make a career in same do that without any confusion and without thinking too much about it, the only thing is you will have to give your best in that field. But if it is not your interest instead you are doing it due to the pressure of parents or by attracting a high salary job in this field don't do that other wise offcourse you will find this course difficult as well as you wil ruin you career.
I hope you get your answer, just consider the above mentioned factors. Wishing you all the very best for you bright future.
Thankyou..
Hey aspirant,
The first General Chemistry classes aren’t much more difficult than high school level stuff, but later it gets tough with Organic Chemistry.
The more math background you have, its better. Analytical and Physical Chemistry require lots of math. If you are well prepared, did well in chemistry, have good study habits, can read and follow directions, are prepared to study on your own and have decent math foundation, you should be good. In university you are expected to read the textbook on your own, do the homework, study for your quizzes and go to recitation on your own.
Hope it helps.
