Hi Aditya,

Well it depends on you to be very honest. If you have interest in the subject, you must take it up.

If you like Mathematics, definitely go for it. But if you have fear of the subject do not go ahead with it.

Remember this, if you take up Mathematics as UG hon. subject, your relationship won't end with just 3 years of UG study. You need to have a Masters' degree for your further career opportunities.

I can say this, there will be a gradual but big difference in the level of difficulty and complexity will increase as you go further with the subject.

But then having said that, I feel Mathematics is one of the finest and best subjects to have ever existed and new and advanced technologies like Data Sc., ML all need a deep understanding of Mathematics and Statistics.

So you will have enough opportunity to work with it! If you have interest, you will easily get past the tough portions. If you don't have much interest, the easiest topics will pose you problems.
