Hello student.

There are generally two terms in this field namely Bacholer of Enginerring and Bacholer of Technology . Btech is more of practical oriented and BE is more of therotical knowledge.Considering the field you want to get into namely computer science both these courses carry equal weightage since most of the work or learning part is to be done by the  student himself/herself. The degree does plays an important role in placements and further admissions but for sure it is totally dependent on the student how to use the degree and where to use the degree. Both of the degree have equal value so you can think about anyone of them.

Hello,

Hope you are doing well!

Both are different field. Computer Science (CS) deals with data and algorithms, while Computer Engineering (CE) focuses on hardware and firmware. Both Computer Science and Computer Engineering are difficult degrees. They deal with different areas of Mathematics. There is no such thing as 'better' in this case. It depends on your career plans and whether you enjoy working more with hardware or software. They both lead to lucrative and secure jobs, so which one is better will always depend on your plans. both are best career choice you can choose as per your Interest.

B.Tech Computer scientists :-

  1. Computer scientists work with computational theories, powerful algorithms, and mathematical models which are used to develop software programmes and systems.
  2. Computer Science started as a branch of Mathematics.
  3. Computer Science students learn about computing theory, programming, environments, algorithms, data security and transfer, etc.
  4. Computer scientists work with computational theories, powerful algorithms, and mathematical models which are used to develop software programmes and systems.

Job Role of Computer Science are:-

  1. Artificial Intelligence
  2. Machine Learning
  3. Human-Computer Interaction (HIC)
  4. Data Science
  5. Cyber Security
  6. Cloud Computing
  7. Video Game Development.

B.tech Computer Engineers :-

  1. Computer engineers, on the other hand, develop the hardware and firmware on which software and systems run.
  2. Computer Engineering began (and still is considered by some) as a branch of Electrical Engineering.
  3. Computer engineers develop the hardware and firmware on which software and systems run.
  4. Computer Engineering students discover how to develop, prototype, and test microchips, circuits, processors, conductors and any other components used in computer devices or systems (e.g. supercomputers, smartphones, laptops, servers, IoT gadgets).
  5. They also develop the firmware, an essential type of software that allows operating systems and applications to take full advantage of the hardware.

Job role after Computer Engineering are:-

  1. Hardware Systems
  2. Distributed Computing
  3. Robotics and Cybernetics
  4. Embedded Systems
  5. Computer Graphics and Visualization
  6. Medical Image Computing
  7. Computer and Network Security.
