Is btech cs (AI )tough?
hi sakshi,
First point: None of the engineering subjects is easy. We need to work hard to make it easy for ourselves. I don't know on the basis of which someone told you CSE is easy. All the subjects are equally tough for a person who doesn't know anything about that field.
Second point: You wanted to be a doctor. You didn't mention how well you are in maths. I assume that you have a good knowledge in probability, permutation and combination, set theory. These topics are required in Discrete Mathematics which is taught in CSE.
Third point: It is obvious that coding is compulsory if you want to go with CSE. I guess you have the fear of programming because eithet you didn't practice well or you didn't get sufficient help while learning programming. If you study well from the day 1 in your college I can bet you will be able to overcome the fear. There are many videos available in YouTube related to programming which you can use for your guidance. Apart from programming there are several other courses in CSE like digital logic, theory of computation, computer networks, operating systems etc and all are very interesting.
Fourth point: After course completion you can go for a job in IT companies or go for M. Tech or go for MBA. In IT companies, they will surely check your programming knowledge and problem solving skills. For M. Tech you need to appear for GATE to get admission in IITs or NITs or top universities and this examination requires theoritical knowledges. I don't have much knowledge about MBA so I am not talking about that.
I think I answered according to your queries. If you need more suggestions you can go check YouTube about the various engineering subjects. And one thing, sometime you may find some videos like — life of mechanical students, life of computer science students etc etc on YouTube or social media. Just ignore them because that is not applicable for all students in the world. Best of luck for the future ahead. :)
