Hey aspirant,
Christ University will tell you to or say force you to do CA. But afterall it's one's choice to do CA or not.
You will have to do some additional tests or assignments if you don't do CA from in house coaching. But that's not too difficult. You can get over.

B.com Finance and Accountancy :- undergraduate course focuses on the study, functioning, and applications of Accounting and Finance in auditing and taxation for aspiring business, management, and accounting professionals. It is the course that teaches the fundamentals of accounting and finance practices. Through this course, an individual can learn the technical skills associated with many of the procedures of finance analysis and accounting standards.
The B.com financial accounting programme is an undergraduate course. The duration of this programme is three years. It helps students understand the core concepts of finance, commerce and accounting, students who Pursued commerce as their elective in their 12th standard can opt to pursue B.com.

It is compulsory to attend this coaching class of Christ University, it is not allowed to take coaching outside of campus. The institute provides coaching for both CA foundation as well as Inter CA (IPCC). Christ University does not offer any CA integrated course at present. However, it offers a non- integrated CA course for the students of BCOM F & A. Students are provided with regular training sessions on the CPT and IPCC levels of CA, as required to become a member of ICAI.
Christ University has a strict 85% minimum attendance rule which includes both Bcom and CS classes. If u have 85% attendance u will get credit for CA programs. Attending CA classes is completely your choice.
