Chartered Accountant course provided by the ICAI is one of the most sought out course by the commerce students. One cannot say the course to be tough because the subjects are very basic and what we deal with everyday in commerce. It is the passing percentage that makes the course a bit difficult. Since there are many students who go for this course so the number of students passing at each level (i.e. foundation, intermediate and final) keeps on diminishing. Overall one cannot call the course a tough one, the problem only lies in the passing criteria of the Institute.

1. The course has 3 levels of test:

• Common Proficiency  Test
• Integrated  Professional Competwmce Course
• Final Course

The students who have cleared 12th standard can go for the foundation level course which is provided in several Universities.

1. Skills Required:

• Numerical  Ability
• Logical and Methodical Approach
• Applications  of Theorectical Knowledge
• Ability to deal with  different types of people
• Good verbal  and written experience

The admission requires you to  complete 12th with a science or commerce stream.
From a career perspective  you have a good chance to a high paying career with a CA degree.
