Charted Accountancy is a professional course and if you like numbers and financial analysis etc, then it can be a suitable career choice. Some quality traits that you need to have is being extremely organized and being meticulous. Also knowing the taxation rules and abiding by them is extremely important as you move up the ladder. If you like a little flair in your job then you can also write the Company Secretary’s exam as it is quite similar and that will make you even more valuable.
BBA was a job created when business started to boom around the world and it was important for companies to look for and hire people with some all-round knowledge levels like: financial management, economics, marketing, accountancy principles, and organizational management. If are comfortable with these sort of jobs, where performance is the only criteria for moving up the ladder, then go for it.
Finally it boils down to your personality and which career you are more comfortable with. Remember it is not the profession that guarantees you success but your talent and passion for your field of interest.
Hope this helps!
Hello aspirants,
Both the fields are different and will fetch you very different jobs and profession while there is a chance of having a job after completion of CA is fairly high but after BBA is rather low.
You need to understand that one is a bachelors degree which is BBA while other is certification course that is CA and you will always need an Bachelors Degree to make your profile stronger than others, I am not saying you can not get a job with just the CA certification, you can always get one but their is thing called as quality of profile and that is stronger with one bachelor degree at-least.
So if you are wondering what to choose please go with doing a bachelors degree along with giving CA exams as these exams are tough and needs proper guidance and coaching to clear so prepare accordingly.
I hope it helps.
All the best.
