The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBC students studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. ... For the day scholars the range is Rs. 350 to Rs. 160.
Eligibility :
Be studying in Class 11 or above (pursuing recognised post-matric and post-secondary courses)
Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 1.5 lakh
The scholarships will be open to India nationals belonging to OBCs as notified by the Central Govt./State Govt. or UT Administration
Have passed matriculation or higher secondary examination from a recognised university or board
Students studying through correspondence courses employed students on leave without pay for the entire duration of a full-time course
Students pursuing postgraduate courses in medicine if only they are not allowed to practice during the period of their course
Note that : These scholarships will be given for the study of all recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses pursued in recognized institutions
