Is caste certificate needed to make EWS certificate?

Hey there!
EWS reservation category which came into picture last year itself is a reservation category for people only from general caste. They do ask for a caste proof generally for which you could simply use your domicile as it has a mention of your caste. Along with that you'll need to submit income proof.
