Is caste certificate require during form filling of jee or we just need to mention the caste during filling form ?

see jee mains will only ask your category

during the form fill-up. They will not ask

you a hard copy of obc ncl certificate for

scan at that time.



But when you will qualify jee mains and

will appear for jee advance then iit will ask

it during form fill up. And that obc should

be recent of within 6 months .jee advance

will also give you 1 month for submitting

the certificate. Once when you will submit

And then your obc rank of jee Mains will be

valid



Now, if you do not appear for jee advance

then the obc ncl certificate will be asked

from you during josaa counselling session

during reporting and for claim of obc rank

given in jee mains rank card.



So, according to me you should apply for obc

ncl during mid of February and it will be

complete in 4 weeks at most that is March.
