Well, the eligibility criteria for a diploma in any stream vary from one college to another. The admission procedure for a diploma is either 10th or 12th qualifying marks or an entrance test.

Either merit-based admission of your 10th or 12th qualifying marks will be considered or the colleges may conduct an entrance exam.

You, however, need to have a minimum mark of at least 50% in the qualifying examination. This percentage might also cart depending on the college you are applying to, it might be more or less (consider +-5%). Also, you need to have mathematics as a mandatory subject.

Now, as far as entrance exams are concerned Jamia conducts an admission entrance test. So your CET is not a compulsion.

As you didn't mention the college in which you want to purse Diploma in Computer science so I'll answer to your query on a general basis. You don't have to write CET to get admission in Diploma courses. You should have your class 12 or class 10th score card from a recognised board. The percentage required in qualifying exams varies from college to college. On a general basis if you want to persue diploma after your class 12th then your score should be more than 55%.
You can directly fill the application forms in college.
After Diploma you can join some good engineering college with lateral entry. You can even continue with job after completing Diploma.
