Is cet exam is compulsory for Bsc forestry college

No ,CET is not necessary for Plain BSC but 10 th and12th marks matter a lot. If you score good, you have choice of choosing what to do in BSC but if you take 12th lightly you will have to settle with the circumstances. And even if you give CET as a try but have given board exams with full focus, you can still have a decent score. After all PCM CET is based on 12th syllabus only.
But in case of Bsc in forestry ,agriculture,etc. CET is the basis for admission.You should try to score as well as possible in your CET examination to stand a chance to get admission.

Top colleges list in BSc Forestry and their admission procedures are as follows-
1.Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology: Admission based on merit cum entrance exam marks.
2. Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University: Admission based on merit.
3. Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya: Based on merit cum entrance test.
4. University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences: Admission based on merit cum entrance exam.
5. Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology: Admission based on merit cum entrance exam.
So, entrance exam is not mandatory in all colleges for BSc in Forestry. But it is mandatory in most of the colleges.
And if you were asking about College of Engineering, Trivandrum (as you have mentioned in the question tag), BSc in Forestry is not available in this college.
