To begin with let me tell you chemical engineering is one of the most demanding branches of engineering as it has plenty of careers options. Not too many college offer this course and the one which does is definitely a good one.
Now regarding your questions yes chemical engineering is good at coimbatore college of engineering. But about the placements it's not very good it's just better than average.
