Hello,
There is no specific branch which can be considered good or bad for a girl or a boy.It totally depends on self interest.You will get admission in IITs or NITs then it doesn't matter from which brach you are because even though you are from chemical you can still sit for campus recruitment for various companies that deal in investment,baking and finance. And if you will get thorough the it you will placement in these companies too.Its just about interests.But if you will talk about scope then chemical engineering does offer a wide range if scope in job sector.You can prefer going Computer Science because most demand of CSE will rise in near future.
But again you will have to find out your interest then no matter what field it is you will succeed.
