You can be placed in petrochemical rifeneries and manufacturing units, the pharmaceuticals, the FMCG companies etc. If you are interested in design, you can work for companies like Engineers India limited which gives an average of 8.5 lac/annum. You can also go for production companies like ONGC, BPCL etc. BPCL pays around 11.5 lakhs to freshers. So, if you are genuinely interested, go ahead. It is a good career choice!
