The whole PCM combo is and will remain must for Engineering Entrance exams for now. As all the subjects are very important branches of Science (https://zapscience.com) and removing any one of them will never be seen as a choice. There can be a change in syllabus but not removal of an entire subject. :)
Here (https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/WebInfo/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=13&iii=Y) is the sylaabus for JEE Main.
Hello dear student,
No where it is written that chemistry is removed for from jee 2021 syllabus. While it is said that chemistry is not mandatory for admission into B tech and BE courses in the country. Which means students who have completed their higher secondary with physics and mathematics along with any other optional subjects including biology biotechnology are also eligible to get into engineering courses from next academic session. But at present a combination of physics chemistry and mathematics is must in engineering streams .
I hope this was helpful and understandable
Thank you

Hello Aspirant,
Well it is not yet decided whether it has been completely from the JEE Mains 2021 syllabus.
But there is a good news that Chemistry is not mandatory for admission in engineering courses may affect JEE Main 2021 Eligibility. Recenlty All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced that Chemistry is not mandatory for admission into B. Tech and BE courses.
This may help.
Happy learning!
