Yes, you will find Chemistry in your 1st year of your Btech course. But it does not include in any of the core subjects of your domain.

Chemistry, here will be very basic of what you have already studied in your +2 level. Chapters like Water chemistry, solid state chemistry will be there in the course which can easily be completed even if you don't like the subject much.
