    I have to clear one thing here the stream like mech,civil,ece,eee,cse,it are called as mother engineering which are the base of other engineering courses. You may get job through  campus interview for petrochemical engineering definitely you for this course in particular college.
    Otherwise you go for any of these mother engineering course.

Yes,it is better to take petroleum engineering than taking CSE and mechanical engineering.
