No, CLAT is not necessary to take admission in Allahbad University. CLAT is an entrance test for admission in only the 5 year Integrated National Law Universities (NLUs). Admission in rest of the colleges is done by their own entrances/ procedures.
Admission in the 3 year LLb course of Allahbad University is done through the entrance test LATand an entrance test LFAT for admission in the 5 year Law course. No, it is not necessary to give CLAT. Allahabad University conducts its own entrance test. CLAT is compulsory for NLUs.
