Hi Abhishek,
Rank predictor, predicts on the basis of the level of paper and this year the paper was easy as was in the year 2016. So the cut off will be similar or may be even more higher this year than in 2016. Till the result is announced 2016 cut off is an indicator of the cut off trend.
