In electrical engineering you can learn both core subjects and computer languages.

These two  are supreme branch .In soft ware field computer science has more number of vacancy are coming in now a days .you would get a job easily in cs branch .every collegs has more number of student are placed in cs branch comperision of other branch.company like infosys tcs,  wipro are recuriting more number of student .coming from core or eletric branch.these branch have less vacancy in pvt sector.you have to qualified for govt exam like gate,NTPC for getting a job in eletric branch.

Both of the branches have good scope . But computer science jobs are more in number compared to Electrical engineering. First of all sort out whether you have passion in computer science or electrical . If you are interested in electrical ,then you can go for it

If you go with Computer Science Engineering then jobs are easy found. If you go with Electrical Engineering then jobs are a bit hard to find but you get good salary than software jobs. So based on your interest choose the branch. If you have talent then you get good job with high package.

You can also try for government jobs either through Computer Science Engineering or through Electrical Engineering. Now choose wisely and consider your interest.

If we consider the two streams in the current market scenario, CSE certainly holds the upper hand over electrical engineering due to high number of job openings in the market.

However, if you are attracted to the circuits and the concept of electrical subjects you can consider joining ECE as well. It delves into the circuits and robotics as well includes the coding and assemby subjects making it useful in both electrical and IT fields. You can sit for most of the jobs with CSE students and also get opportunities in electrical fields as well.
