PSEB 12th exam has 4 compulsory subjects - General English, General Punjabi, Computer Science and Environmental education. out of these Computer science and environmental education are held at the school level.After evaluation the school autorities send the marks and grades to the Punjab State Education Board. The passmark for Computer science is 33 out of 100(including theory,practical and CCE) and for environmental education it is 17/50(including theory and CCE). It is necessary to score pass marks in both these subjects though this is held at the school level.There are three streams in PSEB 12th grade. They are science,commerce and maths. Three elective courses are chosen from these streams in addition to the compulsory subjects.

The total marks for PSEB 12th exam is calculated excluding Environment education and computer science. Though it is essential to gain pass marks in both these subjects they will not be added to the final grand total.
