Is condition of 75% marks in 12th exam is applicable for taking admission in NIT for architecture based on jee papaer 2?

Hello Umesh,

The eligibility criteria for JEE paper 2 is that It is compulsory that candidates take up 5 subjects in 12thor qualifying exam. The 5 subjects for B.Arch/ B.Planning are:

1-Language, 2-Physics, 3-Mathematics (compulsory), 4-Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), 5-Any other subjects.

For getting an admission to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs, you need to score at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam that is conducted by the respective boards. The eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class 12 th for SC/ ST candidates.
