Hello Aloke,
The B.Tech CSE course at Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampore is quite good as the faculty members there have experience of 5 to 35 years, and they provide training to the students on the best of their capabilities. It is sure that you won't face any problem in education. The only problem is the placements. There are no internship opportunities and also, there will be no on-campus placements. You will need to find jobs off campus, and all you will get is suggestions from the teachers about jobs. If you want to pursue B.Tech CSE with less expenses, then this college is recommended.
Hop it helps!!!
Dear Aspirant,
GCETT is mainly famous for their textile technology however it is a government college that too which falls under MAKAUT; so the syllabus is same just like other colleges under the MAKAUT and once you're in college be prepared to learn everything by yourself. Work hard so that your skills and performance can get you into any job you will be applying for; be it via campus or off-campus. The infrastructure is amazing and it is one of the few colleges with NAAC accredited Grade A of West Bengal.
Inter- Branch Collabs: Gaining a rock-solid technical aptitude will increase your chances in relations like IoT(CSE-ECE collaboration), End-to-End Development (CSE-IT collaboration), Material Properties Simulation (CSE-CT collaboration). This is very important in learning similar skill sets.
