Don't Miss: JEE Seat Matrix
Yes, it is a good book. but you cant totally rely on dc Pandey.
No there are other books far better and have quality numerical Luke cengage.
Erodoves.
Mishra. Etc.
Solving the JEE Advanced paper's will help to know the exam difficult level and identify the high weightage topics.
If you want to do any good in IIT JEE or any exam you need to limit your study material but do that material 100%.
For Maths:-
First, clear concepts than go through each and every solved example, in starting you will feel that you can solve these questions easily and tend to skip that question, but for clearing concept you should solve all that questions irrespective of time taken.
Some books in my point of view-
Problems in Calculus by Sameer Bansal .
Coordinate geometry and Trigonometry by SL Loney.
Algebra by Cengage publication.
For Chemistry:-
For chemistry, NCERT book is a must.
First Clear all your basic concepts from NCERT, after that for organic and inorganic follow Morrison and Boyd and JD Lee respectively but read only those topics which are mentioned in NCERT.
Books For problem-solving
physical chemistry- N Avasthi,
Organic chemistry- M S Chauhan,
For physics:-
Clear concept deeply, try to learn behind the scene of all concept.
Try to Solve each and every question of HC Verma by your self.
Must attempt all previous year JEE questions.
All the very best and good luck.
DC pandey is one of the best books recommended for Physics -numericals and has modearte level of difficulty,
However books bY HC Verma and NCEERT books are having an edge over DCPandey since the theory has more elaborate structure and contains advanced complex problems which are more suitable for JEE advanced.
You can also refer to books by IE Irodov for Physics Numericals & theory as it contains wide distinguished numericals with numerous theory examples to practice and is given in very crisp manner and is the best one stop solution for Physics after HC Verma.
