Hello!

Delhi University is not a deemed university. It is a collegiate public central University.Various colleges fall under it but they can conduct final examination only under the name and stamp of the university they are under.

DU is a member of association of common wealth universities.

Hello Pari,

No, University of Delhi is not a deemed-to-be-university. It is one of the top universities in the country and is central throughout India, inviting students from all over India from any board or category whatsoever. If you want to get into DU, you must score well in your 12th boards and then check the cutoff lists for your desired choice of course.

All the Best!
