According to me , going to engineering field through science stream and getting passed in class xii is better than pursuing diploma course.

If you go for grade 11 and 12 and paas out with minimum 50% in physics,  chemistry and mathematics .

You will have to appear for CET

After getting good score In cet you can easily get engineering seat in any college.

But after diploma course , getting seat in engineering college is bit tough as completion is increased.

Also after xii science you have a lot of career options .

Now it's upto you which way you want to go.
