Hi
Medical Lab technology is a productive and challenging field. The initial salary package for a medical lab technology/ technician ranges from Rs 10,000 - Rs 20,000 per month in hospitals and in clinics. One can also earn a good amount as a freelancer. The pay packages gradually increase with years of experience.

After completing a Diploma in Physiotherapy, you can work at community health centres, mental health centres, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes/private care centres, fitness centres, government hospitals and sports clinics.

Both are good it's depend on your interest
Thank you.

Hi,

I hope you are doing well!

Bachelors of physiotherapy(BPT) is a independent profession like mbbs , dental or any other medical course. Its not paramedical .bmlt is paramedical its a technician course. Bpt is not a technician course. Recently WHO has declared it as a independent profession, not a paramedical course. In bpt every subject which in mbbs is taught to the students. They know about medications very well but cant prescribe as not advised by international association of physiotherapy.

I hope this helps!

Dear aspirant,

A comparison between these two courses is not possible. BPT is a bachelors degree in physiotherapy , it is sort of like medical degree , you will be learning about human anatomy in detail like the MBBS students and so therapists are often addressed as doctors. Therapists , can earn up to minimum 5-6 lakhs per annum and they are always on demand. BMLT on the other hand is also a good course and it is more of a paramedical course . Upon completion , one becomes a lab technician. In physiotherapy you deal with real patients and heal them like doctors whereas in BMLT you deal with medical technologies. So instead of comparing , I suggest , you to learn more about the course nature and work nature of both BPT and BMLT and decide based on your interest and future career goals.

Hopefully this will help you.
Thank you.
