Yes, there are direct admissions available for the Btech in Punjabi University, Patiala. But there are some eligibility criteria's that are to be fulfilled by the candidate applying for the course of interest.

The eligibility requirements for all the branches of Btech include - qualification in higher secondary examination (10+2), with physics, chemistry, maths, English as one of the subjects. So you can get into the course if you have completed the 10+2 and got qualified. The selection procedure is based on the merit in JEE main followed by counselling.

There is a way of getting admission in B.Tech in PUP-Patiala. One can take admission in through management quota i.e. Integrated course which is available for all streams in B.Tech. It's pretty expensive, but if you want admission without JEE rank then integrated course is the solution.
