Currently, LLB distance education programs are not considered valid in India. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has not yet approved LLB degrees obtained through distance education. Consequently, individuals who pursue LLB degrees via distance learning will not be accredited as legitimate lawyers.

Upon finishing a distance LLB program, individuals are not eligible to practice law. Nonetheless, they can explore various law-related career opportunities in sectors such as Law Firms, NGOs, Government Institutions, Industries, Corporate Organizations, Institutes/Universities, etc.
