Is DIT university. is good for petroleum engineering

Hey Farhan, DIT university offers petroleum engineering and energy studies with many students pursuing it currently.But maximum of those students pursuing this degree have their main focus on gate exam and not the placements. Being a student of DIT university i won't say that companies for petroleum dosen't come but i would say there are less companies with fewer intake with an average package.Also ,last year two students of petroleum boasted 21 lakhs package.So, nothing could be predicted what will happen but if you prepare yourself accordingly you can be the next 21 lakh package holder out many other students .And as far as faculties are concerned ,they are very well at their work and are well experienced and every faculty will help you in anyway possible.

According to me, pursuing petroleum engineering from DIT University would be a great choice.The department is really excellent going these days, with an excellent blend of Phd and Mtech faculties. Comparing the department with other institutes in dehradun, you can definitely go with DIT. The placement department is completely reconstructed with new officials having experience in placing students in Petroleum engg.But I would say placements are rather better for CS and IT departments.
