    DM is for super specialisation in a particular stream, for example endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, urology etc.

    DM has a high position among the strata of doctors due to its super specialisation. They are the leading consultants among their department.

    Also DM doctors are always wanted in all private and government sectors.
