Is doing BBA specialization in one thing and doing MBA specilization in another than what I have done in BBA , is it ok? or should I only do the same specilization what I have done in BBA to do in MBA?
Hello Aspirant,
It is advisable to do MBA in the specilsation in which you have done BBA because not only you have a prior good knowledge about your specilsation but you also will be able to justify your selection in any interview, However there are cases in which people switch specilsation like some BBA marketing student in my class is doing MBA in finance but most oftenly student chooses the same specilsation
My advice to you is that if you want to change your specilsation in MBA than you can change it but you should be able to justify your selection.
I hope the above information is beneficial for you.
All the best.
Hello!
The answer totally depends upon your interest. Yes, you can switch your specialization in MBA if you've other specialization in BBA. But you should be able to justify the change in the interviews. Keeping the specialization same in both the PG as well as UG will keep your chances safe in the interviews.
Students can have a change in interest and inclination towards another specialization. So, it's better to figure out what you want to pursue your career in. Chose your mba specialization in which you can ho ahead in life. It doesn't matter what bachelor's degree and specialization you did in your UG. People do engineering/arts and then opt for mba which are completely different courses.
I hope this helps.
No it won't create any problem for you instead it will make you more diverse. In fact more focus is on you MBA as it is your highest qualification so if you are interested more in your MBA specialization then if would be much better for you, and there is nothing to worry about.
