As far as the theoretical knowledge is concerned, both Private as well as govt. medical Colleges would offer you the same. There won't be any differences in that.

The problems lie in 2 aspects :

1. Fees : I don't think elaboration would be needed.

2. Practical : Govt. Medical Colleges catering free treatment to patients generally encounter huge patient footfall, whereas the private hospitals whose treatmemt costs are high fail to have such a huge load.

Consequently, in govt. hospital you would be having a chance to face more number of medical anomaly cases and treatment procedures which is actually quite important from clinical aspects. Private hospitals fail to impart this knowledge at such a vast level.
