Domicile certificate or residence certificate is an official document to prove that the person is a resident of that particular state/union territory.Domicile certificate is not necessary for admission.But go through the guidelines of that particular college that you are seeking admission. Domicile certificate is used to avail benefits such as reservation, loans, scholarship etc.
