Hello vivek,
Hope you are doing well.
As per your question, as per domicile certificate rules and regulation if you want to gain the benefit of state quota then you should have domicile certificate . But this is not the case everywhere if I take example of Gujarat state if I candidate has passed his or her academics 10 and 12th respectively from Gujarat then that candidate can grab or gain the benefit of state quota by showing only their 10 and 12th marksheet for proof. So in Gujarat candidates are not required to show their domicile certificate while going for admission in state quota.
So as u didn't mentioned your state so the above data will clear you how this goes on. Each state has their own rules and regulations so you can go through that particular officials. But as per my opinion you won't be in trouble if you have cleared your academics form your state and wanted to get the benefits of state quota.

Hope this helps you out. Thank you
