For admission the eligibility criteria is that the student must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. Candidates with a minimum of 60% or above in best of four including English, Mathematics and any two other subjects of choice, are eligible to apply for the JAT exam. The exam has four sections - Quantitative Ability, Business & General Awareness, Reasoning and English.

The preliminary shortlisting of candidates will be based on the score they secure in the DU JAT exam.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. These rounds will be conducted only for BMS and BBA-FIA applications.
