Hey Nimisha

You need not to confuse in between the ebc and ews. Both the terms Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Economically Backward Class (EBC) are both similar.The definition of Economicaly Weaker Section (EWS) is actually defined by the Government of India whereas Economically Backward Class (EBC) varies in different states as well as institutions.

Matlab ebc dusre state walo k liye hai ..jo apne state se dusre state m jata hai aur ews jo khudh k state m rehkar apna study continue krte hai?????

I am student of 12 class I want to fill MHTCET form for engineering I am from general category and annual income of my family is less than 8 lakh and my own house is built less than 1000 sq. feet area while filling the form question arrising that (whether you are applying for EWS or not) I have to tick yes or no for that. For EWS certificate according to information 1967 or before 1967 residential proof of my grandfather is essential and I don't have this residential proof of my grandfather what should I do.
