Hello Raja
Being an electronics student, If a candidate wills to go to for core jobs, He can either get recruited through placements of college, which seems to be slightly difficult because there are rare colleges who have really good placements in core.
Now the most fruitful and lavishing career one can have is to prepare for core examinations such as IES and GATE, which gives you really promising opportunities to pursue either your post graduation from top T-schools in india or get a world class job in any of the government wing having opportunity in engineering or PSUs like BHEL, NTPC, NHPC, BEL, DRDO, BARC and many more.
Some enthusiastic folks having good vision for becoming future entrepreneurs or having some good position in world class organizations tends to pursue their post-grad from foreign universities, they can opt to appear in GRE if they are looking after technical jobs, GMAT, IELTS if they are appearing for management jobs.
One can opt to appear in the campus recruitment of college supporting IT jobs, Management jobs, there are N number of companies which are looking after electronics engineer having good communication skills or negotiation skills or good IT engineering including programming, coherent thought process etc.
At last when it cuts down that none of options worked out, one has the way to prepare for lower grade government exams which are B+ grade which also have some kind of engineering jobs, central and state services exams which include diversified range (Bank, Rural/Urban dev services, defense, railways etc.)
