Hello...

Yes ECE is tougher than IT because you should know that ECE is a vote branch in which you read two different things at a time one is electronics in which you learn about all low current circuit .

Whereas other hand you read all the communication things which helps you to get better understanding of the subject.

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,

The core subjects or the topics in ECE involve analog transmission, basic electronics, solid state devices, microprocessors, digital and analog communication, integrated circuits, satellite communication, etc. That means almost all subjects deals with elecronics.

In IT, the core topics are Languages(Java, Python), Data base, Data structures, computer networks, computer organization, Design Algorithms, Data Networks, Communation theory, Web technology, Operating system, etc. All these are software based.

If you wish to go to software side then IT is the good option.

Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

Hello,

ECE means electronics and communication engineering. if you are detemined to take this as your engineering course then it wont be tough. As you see ECE branch teaches you the basics of nearly all engineering courses ie. it covers the topics from Civil,Mechanical,Electrical,IT and CSE. So will be able to explore all the engineering courses. And that is why this field is regarded as an evergreen field. You will always have a vivid number of job oppurtunities when you are a ECE.

To the point of you know coding well then cse is easier than ece . If you know coding and good in mathematics and having interest in Electronics than ece would also be easy.

Only the subjects vary. CSE have more programming which any ECE student will be able to pick up and not the reverse way.

Hope this helped.

Good luck!
