As an Electrical engineer, I do having to complete my Bachelor studies in EEE I felt the need for mathematics at every step. just not because EEE demanded it, simply because once you start understanding maths you start understanding things in a much better way than others.

Subjects like Circuit theory and Electric machines are highly maths oriented.

Signal Processing is still the next door which maths as a key can unlock easily.

EMFT is also another interesting subject you will appreciate if you love maths.

Needless to say, there are some subjects which do not require maths much

EVS, Industrial Economics and Principles of Management (it require maths but that is not at graduation level, as it is taught in Indian colleges.)

To sum up, If you have opted the EEE by your choice then learn maths as much as possible and it is not mandatory that you must be a Ramanujan to understand EEE.
