Hello dear, the scope for Electronics and telecommunication is good. There is no doubt that it is a core Branch and you can opt IES in this Branch. But if you are talking about campus placement then I would say that if you are from tier 1 colleges like NIT,IIT,GFTis. etc. And some good ranked colleges then only you can have a good placement in a core company. The core companies of electronics are very few in India in comparison with IT sector. So, actually the placement scenario is not good for tier 2 colleges. Most of the students from EC either give GATE exam for higher studies ,PSU, or other state govt. Exams. The campus placement are generally in IT industry and most students end up in IT industry.

So,keep that in mind.I would say that if you are interested in ECE only then you should join.Either you can have better options like Mechanical,Civil are evergreen branches and have immense scope in INDIA as well as abroad. So,if it's all about getting job then CSE or IT is also a better option as these are in demand in INDIA.

Hope I am clear.

Hello..

I think that Electronic and Telecommunication has good scope in the future...

The name itself demonstrates that what's to come is simply founded on it and is viable with the benchmarks of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. With the colossal development of innovation the period of gadgets so do quickly build its use and significance. This even indicates the significance and the extent of the branch sooner rather than later.

With the appearance of the innovation this includes even the software(CSE) and equipment (ECE) segments with the assistance of interchanges however. So by this we can see the chain won't stop and would prompt incredible creations and shock.

Hope these will be helpfull...

All the best!!

Dear Aspirant

Yes definitely electronics and communication engineering is a core branch and has its scope not only in private sector but as well as in government sectors but if you wish to work in private sector then computer science engineering has more scope than electronic engineering. There are also various job under computer science engineering which electronic engineers do just by learning some of the skill like coding. While if you want to serve in public sector then you should choose electronic and communication engineering over computer science engineering. So choose smartly.

Good luck for your future :)

Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
