Hello,

Yes, an ETE passed out can go to GATE after which through scores obtained; they will get into public sector undertaking recruitment processes, which require scores in a GATE test.

While most the Public Sector Undertakings have been inclined towards Telecom and Electronics based sectors in recruiting candidates of ETE as many PSUs recruit individuals on the bases of performance at GATE. There are a number of public sector undertakings including those from IT, information and telecommunication sectors.

Few of those prominent PSUs for recruitment basis GATE include: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited among others.
