Different states have different rules and limits regarding the income requirements for the EWS category. The limit in Haryana for the EWS category is that the income of the family should be below Rs. 6 lakhs and in Delhi, It should be below Rs. 8 Lakhs. To get a new EWS certificate, HERE IS THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PROOF OF ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION (EWS):-
1.Income. certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar 2.BPL Ration Card (Yellow coloured) 3.AAY Ration Card (pink coloured) 4.Food Security card.issued by Food & supply Dept.(GNCT of Delhi)
The Authorities which can issue an ‘Income and Asset Certificate’ for the Economically weaker section are-
1.District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/ Collector/ Deputy Commissioner/Additional’ Deputy Commissioner/ 1st Class Stipendary Magistrate/ Sub-Divisional Magistrate/ Taluka Magistrate/Executive Magistrate/ Extra Assistant Commissioner.
2.Chief Presidency Magistrate/Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate/ Presidency Magistrate
3.Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
4.Sub-Divisional Officer or the area where the candidate and/or his family normally resides.
