EWS is a reserved category in NEET for general category candidates who are economically weaker and you are going to get all the benefits if you belong to it and have proper certificates and have mentioned it in your NEET form.
EWS is not for any already reserved category , it only applies for general category students.
As per the NEET-UG 2021 reservation norms, the Central Government has recently decided to provide 27% reservation to OBCs under the All India Quota Scheme and 10% reservation to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The decision to reserve seats for NEET 2021 will benefit about 1,500 OBC and 550 EWS candidates.
