NO, Obviously CAT is important, as it has 50% weight-age as compared to 30% weight-age of GAT. But, one can't be sure of how many marks one can get in CAT, as it depends more on examiner. But one can be very sure of getting marks in GAT, as you know whether your answers are correct or not.
