No GATE is not compulsory for all the engineering students as passing out exam ,earlier there was a rumour on the social media regarding compulsory GATE examination for all the engineering students but the authorities in a notice made it clear that it is not mandatory to appear for GATE to get engineering degree also colleges does not have any responsibility for getting you a job based on your GATE score colleges have their own placement cells which help you to get a job from the campus itself but get is another thing.

Hello aspirant,

Yeah definitely gate score is very important .

There are many core sector companies and institutions who will provide good packages to the individual.

It is not mandatory that through gate only one is getting degree . If you wanna go for higher studies like mtech, then it is mandatory .

Well, there is good career oppurtunities through your gate score.

Thank you
