YES!!! GEC Barton hills is a good college. It have been given a ratings of 4.4 out of 5 by careers360 and 4.5 out of 5 by college dunia... These ratings are given according to the students reviews, its infrastructure, education quality and many more factors..
The college is government managed so there is enough freedom.There are no uniforms, mobile phone use is restricted but not banned. And its a small college with about 1800 students.
Moreover, its average package is 3,70,000 PA. It has been given a rating of AAA+ for engineering... Last year about 90% of the final year students got placements in prestigious institutes which includes wipro, TCS,etc. Also there's an Mtech program which is being assisted by Mercedes Benz which directly places the Mtech graduates into their company.
Currently, there are two companies working under the incubation cell of the college. They hire interns for a decent stipend.
The hostel facilities are good. A new men's hostel opened this year. Both women's and men's hostels are near to the college with adequate security and wifi coverage. The college canteen has great homely food at very reasonable prices.hey, where can u get meals for 30 rs.
